...and the month rolls on.

Just another September birthday card! This is for a dear friend of mine. Most of his shirts have his initial embroidered on the sleeve, so I thought he might like it on his card!

The start of September birthdays...

Here's the first birthday card for the busy month of September!! I have about 6 more cards to make, but I think I am off to a solid start. *fingers crossed*

Happy 1st Bday!

I made my second spinner card for my friend's daughter's 1st birthday. I thought her daughter would enjoy watching the 'Happy Birthday' circle around from side to side. Spinner cards are my favorite, but I still haven't mastered them quite yet. Practice, practice!

August Baby Shower

I had to make so many birthday cards for August that I ran out of time to make this card before my trip! I had to throw it together this morning before my friend's shower. Thanks to my embossing powders and my Cuttlebug, it turned out pretty well for a last minute adventure!

Just another August birthday...

I was in SUCH a ruch to finish this card that I messed up on the sentiment. When I type a message in Word, the program automatically capitalizes the start of each new line. I have to go back & fix the lines that do not need capitalization. I accidentally uncapitalized the 'M' when it needed to be capitalized. Oops!! I didn't realize it until it was too late...blah.

Happy 11 months, babe!

I bought my hubby a cheesy 'Best Husband' oscar souvenir when I was in LA. I thought it would be cute to make a 'star' themed card to accompany the gift. My original plan was to sneak into my hubby's office & leave the stuff on his desk, but the office was locked all week...so I just gave him the gifts on our '11 month' wedding anniversary. Happy Anni, honey!

A quickie wedding card...

Due to an overwhelming number of birthdays this month and my crazy travel schedule, I got behind on my card making. I got back in town late Friday night & headed right back out of town early Saturday morning for a day trip. When we got home, I was left with 20 minutes to make a card for my friend's wedding!! It usually takes me AT LEAST 45 minutes to make a card...sometimes, it takes hours! Sooo, I was extra surprised that I was able to crank out a card in 20 minutes. I would have loved to spend more time on the card, but I think it turned out pretty cute for a rushed, quickie card!
